agaknya apakah perkara yg telah menjadi pemangkin terhadap keputusan yg dirasakan amat terburu-buru ini? Dan kenapa hanya 10, dah bukan 11,12...dan bukan 15?
daripada setengah juta pelajar yang mengambil SPM sebelum ini, kira-kira 48,000 pelajar mengambil lebih daripada 10 subjek.

senario biasa ialah pelajar aliran sains akan mengambil Biology, Chemistry, Physics dan Add Math. Then with this new ruling, mereka akan terbatas mengambil Prinsip Akaun, Pendidikan Seni Visual ataupun Tasawwur Islam..and what about EST? Ini amat menyedihkan.

teringat apa yang diulaskan oleh Nur Amalina Che Bakri who scored 17 A1s in the 2005 SPM exam when she was asked about this issue back then. She said that human brain has 2 sides. If we only concentrates on the left side (which include analytical , verbal, logical, grammar, vocab and numerical computation) what will happen to the right side ( include holistic, prosodic, intuitive). Means that, students should not only focus on subjects like math, science, bio etc, but also be learning subjects like art, literature and etc..

pengambilan subjek SPM yg melebihi 15 oleh calon adalah sangat sedikit dan boleh dibilang dgn jari (a few people's fingers maybe...)
dan harus juga diingat, nobody is forcing them to take more than they can carry...so why should there be a limit??? I really-really dont understand...

more than few times, at my school, non- muslim students who are keen in taking Tasawwur Islam on top of their Science stream subjects. Even the some Malays students are not interested to take it and I see that the class that the main elective is T.I are not givng the best result...I think if they can handle it, why should we stop them.

i think we should encourage students to be more well-rounded people , by giving them the chance to learn as much as they want and can...
maybe encourage them to take 3rd language like Japanese, French or Mandrin ker...isnt it much better rather than limiting them...

the reason given to this move was:
"Ini juga akan mengatasi masalah pada sesetengah subjek yang kekurangan guru, malahan ibu bapa dapat menjimatkan wang daripada terpaksa membayar lebihan subjek perlu diambil apabila menghantar anak mereka ke kelas tuisyen"
untuk merapatkan jurang di antara pelajar bandar dan luar bandar walapun perbezaan jurang ini tidak sejauh mana.
Lebih-lebih lagi di kawasan luar bandar ini terdapat ramai orang bumiputera Melayu, bumiputera yang agak miskin, kurang berkemampuan

correct me if i am wrong, but if i am not mistaken, my fellow friends who had been teaching in the rural areas said that, there are not much tuition centers there, so then the school teachers are the students' sole reference...giving them night classes, extra classes etc...
so..?
therefor, only the urban kids who have the privillage to go to tuition centers right? so..?


well, entahlah...inilah susahnya kalau isu pendidikan diterajui oleh org politik...

after anticipating it for quite sometime, it's finally here...'CUTI PERTENGAHAN TAHUN 2009"
yippie...but, on sadder note, i am starting it with conjunctivitis...huhuhuhu...

ada 8 kelas PjPk papers, 2 kelas essay belum marking...adush, mcm mane nak mark dgn mata yg sepet sebelah nie..kene jugak tabah semangat and finish all marking by the end of the week coz next week, we are spending a week at Cherating....yahooo...

well, the school week ended by celebrating Hari Guru peringkat sekolah, and me, kak zu, fatimah and kak nor decided to have 'secret santa' and exchanging gift among us...so after comtemplating on what to buy, last minute, i decided to buy kain ela from Biwanis kat Alamanda...so me "heret" hubby and Danish shopping there last thursday. We had late lunch at Chakri, and guess who we bumped into? At first, me and hubby were trying to look cool and just buat tak tau, yelah kan, they do look very macam 'somebody rich and famous' tapi langsung kiteorg tak kenal...the lady sungguh lawa with very gebu face and the guy pun handsome even with thinning hair..they looked so loving, as the guy without segan and silu kissed the girl on the cheeck...and they had an entourage! Of course lah VIP kan..at that time, rase macam nak take some pic pakai hp, but takut mcm jakunlah pulak kan...so just let them be....but as they left, me and hubby were also left wondering ...anak sapa lah tu...

but i am not wondering anymore as i found who they are tonite.. they are Manohara Odelia Pinot and Tengku Temenggong Muhammad Fakhry Petra.

my latest addiction..

i am taking my own sweet time reading it,on my 4th book now... even though actually tak sabar nak tau the ending, but i like to enjoy every moment of 'living' through the journey...adelah jugak beberapa incident that other people somehow bagi clue what happened in the end, i quickly brushed it off my mind...hmmmm...

it's cuti time...

three months past by and now the time is FINALLy here...CUTI!!!! yippee...time2 mcm nielah, rase best sgt jadik cekgu...yuhhhuuu...
really need this break from the opis politics and headache...my 'ass'-pardon the lingo-dah tak tahan lama2 kat situ, really2 need 'fresh' air...i do realize that starting at a new place, can be a hassle-need to readjust, need to built new friendship, need to be learning thing from scratch, but Insyallah it is all worthwhile...lagipun the new school yg dah ada depan mata, takkan still nak commute 70++km daily to work,plus, with hubby's new job rutine yg poningkan kepala den nie, better pindahkan...

the cuti start by moi darling surprised me by bringing to watch movie- of HIS choice...DragonBall...OMG-patutlah nak surprise coz if he asked me first, there's no way i will agree to watch this movie- but as long as we could spend time together- i just go along with it..and the movie turned up to be a major disappointment (just as i expected...)kalu komik jepun tapi Goku and Bulma played by org puteh-what do u expect, mestiler tak best, memanglah Yamca played by org cina-tapi still tak best...the only ok thing about the movie is Chow Yuen fatt- but his Muten Roshi is still tak brape best...the plot is too fast...and many morelah yg tak braper worth watching...pity my hubby, who has been a long hardcore fan was really keciwa...

ok, what to do during this 1 week-well what dont i want to do...for starter, we plan to go to Ikea, they are having sale!!! lagi, want to watch more movie together with hubby, Race to witch Mountain macam best jer.Tengok abg Dwayne "Rock" Johnson jadik cabbie and kawan ngn alien...
Fast and Furious is coming too, tapi lambat lagi April 3rd to be exact...

yesterday, went by and the 2nd day of 2009 just started.

yesterday papa 'invented' a new family routine- DO NOTHING DAY.
it is a day (according to him) whereby we spend the day by just doing nothing...hahaha darling, really funny, in your sweetest-never gonna happen dreams...as if the day can actually go by with you wacthing TV all day- sorrry yer, kalau masa bujang dulu boley lah yer...

well right now, i am multi-tasking, i am scrapbooking, Literati-ing, surfing the net, and updating this blog...hahaa, after this maybe a minute or two FBing...

1st day of 2009

the 1st day of 2009 nearly comes to the end(it's 23:59) and the day went uneventfully...

i should be marking my form 4 final paper yang adelah tak abish2 tu,
tapi tgh demam mang'scan' old pictures ni sbb also tgh demam with my ...ahem-ahem,
my brand new scanner+photo printer+copying machine nie,
cian my danial haqim yg tertidur without me besides him coz the mama ter'fever'
uploading old pictures in her FB...

looking back at those photos, really bring back memories,
some were good and some were not...
well, that's life right...
life is not just like a bed of roses..

school session is just a week left, but no celebration in my heart, coz i wont be able to enjoy it, all because i have to invigilate SPM for 4 WEEKS!!! memanglah tak kene attend everyday, but still, i couldn't enjoy moi holiday, dahler kojer cekgu nie susah dpt cuti PLUS last yar pun kene "korban" coti hujung tahun coz kene process buku SPBT untuk satu sekolah...this year kenelah pulak jaga SPM nie...

yes, i am whining...

alhamdullilah, dah 14 hari (insyallah 15 hari today) kiter berpuasa, hope still not too late to wish all muslim Happy Fasting, and may all of us have a blessed Ramadhan..amin..

thus, it also means that i have been cooking for 12 days straight (perh..what a record FOR ME)..yg sungguh malas masak ini...and today insyallah nak buat nasi ayam berempah pulak...and papa, enjoy while it lasts lah yer..mama dont think i can keep this up after Syawal...hihihi..

in the month of July..

dah dekat sebulan since my last post...malas tahap gabannyer nak update ini blog, even though a lot had happened...beratnyer rase jari-jemari ini nak ber'typing'...lazy-lazy me...so, before spidey web berkubang around..so here goes my musing.. the month of july started of with the end of an era of my ucyuk with Shell IT International (SITI) as part of SITI has been 'sold' of EDS (Electronic Data System)...so to mark the transition, they had a 'goodbye' dinner kat KLCC(convention center)-so adelah rase sket aura2 tempat cek siti nurhaliza kawin dolu...the door gift..was not so bad..crystal vasefor me and crystal glass for hubby-boley ler bergaye mase Hari Rayer nanti..hihi...but the makan was just ok...but the desert-Crème brûlée was superb!!!...and as usual...not luck on our side..no lucky draw present...buring...also, in order to commemorate the transition, SITI gave ipod Shuffle to all the staff... also in the month of july, was danish & haqim's 1st sports day! it was done kat padang KUIS, and mcm tak percaya jer, my sons nie dah besar rupenyer...dah siap ade hari sukan...so bangunlah anak-anakku ini pada pagi hening hari sabtu itu, dan semangatlah papa and mama nyer nak tgk their sons masuk any acara...

the day started with older kids' acara... haqim (seorang budak1 tahun 6 bulan- yg tak takut orang-berani wonder off sorang2- even was kissed by another little gurl-) masuk acara tukar lampin jer...imagine, dah slalu pakai diapers, kene pakai lampin kain...manelah nak menang...chet... ..and sampailah masa utk acara danish pulak..bile his sitter was looking for him to susun dalam barisan, he was WAILING tak nak masuk..abis my pants,baju and nasib baik tak tercabut tudung aku kene tarik, protest tak nak masuk...end up, terus balik umah...apelah anak mama sorang nie...

macho lah tu, tengok org lain punyer event..

also in the month of july, was my ucyuk's 32th birthday....

in the month of july, is a busy month for mama at school, nearly every saturday kene datang sekolah,this week kene kejer untuk replacement for coti hari Raya...
well last week was Hari Ko-kurikulum at school, the teachers was kene 'willingly' buy a 20 bucks coupon, and this year papa was willing to come along and also brought along the kids...even though papa and haqim only stayed for a while, Danish spent the wonderful half day at school with his mama...

on a sadder note, in the month of july, benar-benar menguji ketabahan and kesabaran papa...but behind every cloud, there's always a silver lining kan papa..ada hikmahnyer setiap aper yg berlaku, just believe in Allah's plan for us...

well, so far this all in the month of july, it is nearly august and nearly Ramadhan...
insyallah, more blessing be upon me and the family..looking for to the next best thing soon...inysallah...
