what's new on the shelf

oh my...P.S I Love You and Damai kasihku are still wasting to be read, and here are more new books that i just cant resist buying...first, because moi darling dgn baik hatinyer mahu belikan...(which is really a rare occasion, him buying me books...) apelagi, amik jer lah kan...2nd, it was our first visit to the Borders, rase mcm tak best plak kluar the store tak beli buku...and 3rd, because that time, we met Prof. Ungku Aziz!!...rase mcm berkobar-kobar nak buy books jer tetiba..(cudnt snap any pics wit him though...takut bhave 'jakun'ize lah plak nnt)..he was so nice and friendly...senyum jer memanjang...4th, and the most important why, is because moi hubby, 1st time ever, was interested to buy book for himself!!!!..5th, because they were in offer, "buy 3-pay for 2"...why would anyone want to let that go kan..not me...

BUT...I have FINALLY finished reading whole 7 books of HARRY POTTER!!!!

yippee....what a relive to know what happened in the end, but deep inside me..

what's new n the shelf

so, after sometimes, what's new on my shelf...well, although i still haven't finished reading up my Harry Potter book collections, i can't resist buying these 2 more story books and another to add up my paper crafting book collections...

Damai Kasihku is written by moi friend-now better known by Iris Ixora...heard she is in the process of making the 2nd book...good luck mama kay...i will start reading this ASAP i have finished my HP books ok...dah lama rasenyer since i last read a Malay novel, last time if I'm not mistaken was masa matriculation years kot...

P.S I Love You...is a book that i just fell in love with the title...and from the summary, it sound quite ok..further more, i read somewhere that it is going to be a movie, going to be premiered soon kot...

now, i'm stuck at Order of Phoenix, coz can't really spend time reading it nowadays, even it is school holidays, coz still have to go to school (SPBT) and went for holidays and kalu dah ader 2 heroes at home, kire bersilat ajelah with them :}

wat's new on my shelves

not so long ago, MPH Alamnada had its book sale, and i cant resist to buy those 'deliciously' inexpensive-on-sale books, not much choices though as the books that were really cheap were either out of date (ex: book on Microsoft windows 98) or textbooks for uni/collage students...but after a few round of 'treasure hunting' i found these books...

first book :- 365 foods kids love to eat by Sheila Ellison & Judith Gray

reason bought :- since danish is such a picky eater, i thought maybe i cud try something new to attract him to eat healthy and intresting food instead of only nasik with plain soup,nasik with kicap or non stop coco crunch to muchy..after reading it, i was a bit dissappointed as most of the dishes, i would need an oven to make them :{ ...though there are a few that i can still make, but haven't started yet coz mama is a bit 'buzy' coooking for buak puasa dishes...

2nd book:- Salads

reason bought: haha...i was 'bercita-cita tinggi' to lose 'a lot of weight' by eating less calories food, so wanted to turn to eating just salads..and ramadhan came, hahaha, almost everyday or any other day eating nasik....*sigh*..maybe i'll start the regime of eating salads after raya kot...ikkiki..

3rd book: Ways to Say I Love You by Stephan Arterburn, Carl Dreizler & Jan Dargatz

reason bought: i was just ter'fall' in love with the title, in it it gave suggestion on ways to bring fun and romance in our marriage, or spice the dating life,show our children how special they are and let a friend know how much we care...i was in the middle of reading when these books fever came along...so tersekat separuh jalan ler...

my whole set of Harry Potter books (dah siap wrap)

so now I'm in the Harry Potter season, and this deman has also bug papa, whom have never read any novels or books since we got married...now baru sampai 2nd book coz i could only read them either when the kids are still in the day care or they have fallen asleep, or when I'm not online (to update blog,blog hopping, checking emails, YM with friends or playing Literati)...so a bit slow finishing it..since reading it, realize that the movie banyak cut scenes, maybe if they do everything from the book, the each movie would be 3-4 hours...

i can really spend my own sweet time in books store,i can be there for hours without realizing the time, but i can only do it if i 'merayap' to malls without papa becoz he can't be too long in bookstores,"dia ngantuk" he said...but me, i can't resist to masuk kedai buku every time went to any malls, it has become a habit, so termelekat pun kat papa lately, since dia pun dah kene deman bace HP books, so now, even though not as long as i want it to be, papa pun dah boley bertahan lama sket temankan me browsing the kedai buku...
